Mother's Day 2007
May 13, 2007
Today was a very special day, it was Mommy's very first Mother's Day!

I liked both, much to the surprise of my parents!

We started in the infant section of their "Tot Spot".
That area did not hold my attention very long.....off I went!

This was my first time ever to even try to climb stairs.
Mommy and Daddy were quite surprised when I climbed right up them....no prob!

Me and Daddy!

Notes from Mommy:
Today was a very special day and it gave me time to reflect on the past nine months.
Wesley has grown and changed so much it is hard to fully grasp how much he has changed and everthing we have experienced.
Just over nine months ago this wonderful boy came into our lives and changed us permanently. It is now hard to remember life before he entered it.
At first he was a helpless infant who did little more than eat, sleep and you know what else :-). Then he started to develop the beginnings of a personality; surrounded by family that loves him he is and will continue to develop his self esteem and confidence.
He is already a brilliant child that loves to inspect anthing that is mechinacal. He loves wheels and is fascinated by the mystery of what makes them work. He is intrigued by complex (in baby terms) workings of toys. He doesn't just play with them, he turns them over, studies them and tries to figure out what is making them "do what they do".
He is flirtatious, smiling at you and then tucking his head when you smile back.
He kisses and reaches for you and loves to interact with everyone. Wesley never meets a stranger. He is learning words and gestures to express what he wants and needs. He has eight teeth and, it seems, grows every day.
I thank God every day for this blessing a promise to never take him for granted.
