My new nap mat

I will be starting at the JCC very soon and I need a nap mat. Lucky for me, Aunt La La is awful handy with a sewing machine. Just check out my new nap mat! I am ready to start school in style (and comfort).

A Gator?

Mommy and Daddy really didn't want to get another toy so close to Christmas but, it was a deal they just couldn't pass up, good for me!

Christmas Part 2

After the Christmas festivities at home, it was off to Aunt La La's house for more fun and family!

"Is that for me".......
boots too?
and a Fireman slicker!
Boys will be boys!
There's my cousin Reagan...he's really good at guitar hero :-)

Wesley playing with truck puzzle

Here is Wesley playing with one of the puzzles he received for Christmas.

This is about half of the video...

Merry Christmas to all......

Christmas morning with Mommy, Daddy and Grandma Boochie.... Above is when Wesley first woke up...he is rounding the corner and seeing all the presents Santa left overnight.

A mad dash for Hot Wheels!
Trucks are cool
and cars are too.

What a wonderful morning for all.
I have a picture of Aunt Annie and Uncle Carl one Christmas morning. They were watching Preston and me open presents while sipping coffee. And while I sipped my cup of coffee this year while watching Wesley open his presents, it all brought a smile to my face and a memory of Christmas long ago and happiness for all the Christmases we have to look forward to.
What joy children are everday but, Christmas makes it even more special....a time to reflect and be thankful for everything we have and all the wonderful loving people we have surrounding us.

Christmas Eve....

Christmas time can be so busy sometimes...and today was no different. Actually, that is the reason there are so few pictures of today. We were running all day. After we picked up Justin and Makayla, we headed over to see Maw Maw, Uncle Steve, Aunt Brenda, Steven and Marshall. Then, back to Alvin where we were greaters for our Church's first Christmas Eve service, then home to receive the gifts left by Santa for Justin and Makayla. He makes a special trip for them so we can celebrate Christmas with them too.

The children had a wonderful day...so did mom and dad!

Our Little Monkey!

He is hanging and swinging from the rails of the top bunk of Justin and Makayla's bunk beds. He pulled himself up there and was having a blast!

The Festival of Lights at Moody Gardens

Well, against the weatherman's forecast, we decided to go ahead and venture to The Festival of Lights.......it was COLD and very WINDY! The lights were beautiful, even if we did kind of run through the exhibit. We ended up spending alot of time inside riding movie rides, drinking hot chocolate and tracking down Santa.
Wesley was NOT feeling like posing for pictures this evening.

Ahhh, there he is! We finally found Santa (and Mrs. Clause too). The boys were not exactly impressed but, Makayla was game!

It's Christmas Tree Time!!!

It's amazing, it is December 1st and still warm enough for shorts....gotta love that Houston weather!

Look Wes, little trees just your size.

He thinks not, off he goes in search of bigger trees!

Trying to keep up with three kiddos in a tree farm is not an easy feat!

Ahhh, tree at last. Now we can head home!
