Memorial Day Weekend, Taking it easy at home....

It seems as though everyday zooms by in such a blur.

Wake up, off to work, work all day, back home, go to bed.

This is the first three day weekend in such a long time when no one is sick or we have to rush back and forth.

So, we decided to take advantge of the free time.

With the exception of a trip to the grocery store, we just hung out all day. Justin is going to be showing a goat this year in 4H so, we were outside spending time with the goat when we snapped these pictures.

The first one is from a few days ago when Justin was here working with "Asteroid".

The rest are from today.

Along with tons of new noises, facial expressions and gestures, Wesley is quite proficient at pulling up and cruising. He was more than happy to practice on the outside of Asteroid's pen.

Wesley and Sebastian are best buds...I think animals and babies comminucate on a whole different level. Sebastian is very protective of Wesley and Wes loves him....actually, he LOVES all animals. We were worried about Seb at first but he has proven to be wonderful with him. It was hilarious to watch his reactions to the grass and hard dirt. You would think as much as he enjoys the outdoors he would at least like the grass but, NO!

The picture quality of this one is really bad butI had to include it. He is in the process of taking his 4th step up the side of the chain link fence...WOW! He was up that high before I had time to react and take him down. Scary! He all but refused to sit in the grass...he squatted and bear crawled the whole time. We thought it was pretty funny. He looked like he was working the rice fields :-) irony
